Together in a Multicultural Southern-Satakunta Project (2024 - 2026) - City of Rauma
The project promotes the integration of citizens who have moved to Finland from outside the EU, in order to increase regional vitality. The aim is to increase awareness of Finnish society, and a sense of inclusion through organizational cooperation, training, networking activities and improving relations between population groups.
The City of Rauma is implementing the Together in Multicultural South Satakunta – project together with Eura, Eurajoki, Huittinen and Säkylä. The project will continue until 2026.
Cooperation partners in the project include local organisations, religious communities, employment authorities, educational institutions and other projects. The project is funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), administered by the European Union.
Digikulta (2023) - Palmgren and Sataedu
ESR-funded project coordinated by WinNova, whose part-implementers are Sataedu, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences and the City of Pori, Palmgren Conservatory. The main goal of the project is to improve the digital skills of cultural and event industry operators.
Sataedu’s part in the project was to deliver R&D solutions in digitalization, consult other parties and arrange coaching sessions on developing technologies. Some of the solutions were on building and implementing virtual learning environments, supplemented with 360-virtual access points, virtual training and variety of implementations in the media sector.
Palmgren’s part was to produce an educational manual and training workshops on solutions to aid the digitalization and modernization of the event and culture industry professionals, in particular use of streaming, AI, AR/VR and variety of tools for virtual access.
